Nokomis Days 2024

Kids Art Contest

Dear Neighborhood Friends,

Nokomis Days is our neighborhood festival August 2nd-4th. Our community businesses have lots going on, like a dog rescue event, great food, parking lot parties, sidewalk sales, and live entertainment.

But we need your artwork!

We want to see what kids in the neighborhood love most about Nokomis Days - and there's a chance to win prizes!

Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and  2nd Grade: Win a prize basket and have your art displayed for the neighborhood during Nokomis Days!

3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade: The winner will have their art as the Nokomis Days main art work on T-shirts, the website, and temporary tattoos. Your artwork will also be displayed for the neighborhood during Nokomis Days, and you will get a free T-shirt featuring your art!

While the Nokomis East neighborhood of South Minneapolis is made up of four primary communities (Keewaydin, Minnehaha, Morris Park and Wenonah), we encourage other Nokomis area businesses (outside of the quadrant) to participate in NEBA.
